Antonio Alvarado, MD is a board-certified nephrologist and internal medicine physician serving patients at the New Braunfels and Seguin clinic locations.
Dr. Alvarado is a San Antonio native who graduated from Central Catholic High School and the University of Texas. He received his medical training at UT-Southwestern in Dallas and Northwestern University in Chicago. He is board certified in nephrology and has been serving the New Braunfels and Seguin communities since 2015. In addition, Dr. Alvarado is the current medical director at the DaVita Guadalupe dialysis clinic. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Jenny, and their furry children, Fozzie, Wally, Wolfie, and Jack.
In addition to providing patients with a full range of kidney services, he has provided medical care and nephrology outreach to underprivileged communities in India and Honduras.
In his free time, Dr. Alvarado enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs, traveling, running, and supporting the San Antonio Spurs & Texas Longhorns.
